Satya Bhuana

Satya Bhuana is an Indonesian musician and songwriter from Tegallalang in Bali. He began writing songs in 2016 and released his debut album, titled Kapan Kita ke Sawah? (When Will We Go to the Rice Field?), in 2018. Since then, his works have been shared on various social media channels and digital platforms. From a young age, Satya has loved playing Balinese gamelan. He also enjoys performing traditional Balinese shadow puppetry (wayang) and dancing with Balinese masks (topeng). He has recently refreshed his work with light-hearted critiques while maintaining his folky music style. Satya is active in performing from one community center (banjar) to another and from one café to another. His most-played song is Hanya Petani (Just a Farmer), which tells the simple love story of a farmer's child
